Our events

About us

Web Summit events have gathered half a million people across Web Summit in Lisbon, Collision in North America, and RISE in Asia since its beginnings as a 150-person conference in Dublin in 2009.

Web Summit’s mission has been to create software that enables meaningful connections between the CEOs, founders, investors, media, politicians and cultural figureheads who are reshaping the world.

Our timeline

Web Summit is proud of its track record when it comes to live events. The Guardian called Web Summit “Glastonbury for geeks”; The Financial Times “the world’s largest tech conference”.

Our global events

Web Summit disrupted the industry by pairing mind-blowing events with unique software. It started with one European event, Web Summit. Now the company is making waves in North America with Collision, and in Asia with RISE.
